DFG-funded Emmy Noether group!

22.12.2023

Within its Emmy Noether Programme, the German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding a research group on "Computational Analysis of Music Audio Recordings: A Cross-Version Approach"!

The Computational Humanities group is hosting a new project: As part of its Emmy Noether Programme, the German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding us with 1.4 million euros for setting up a new research group on "Computational analysis of music audio recordings: A cross-version approach"! In the project, we develop automated analysis methods for music recordings, which could be used in computational musicology and the digital humanities in the future.

The research group is part of CAIDAS and located in the new ZPD building -  an attractive and productive working environment for this research topic. Funding duration is initially three years and can be extended by further three years in case of a successful interim evaluation. At the moment, we have two open positions for student assistants in this project.
