12/21/2023For a new research project, we are looking for two student assistants ("Hiwis") for curating music datasets and for music processing, to start as soon as possible!
We are looking for two student assistants ("Hiwis") to start as soon as possible.
The first one deals with the curation of music datasets, requiring in particular
- Confident use of notation software (MuseScore, Finale, or Sibelius) and office applications
- Good knowledge of music theory (harmony and ear training)
- Basic knowledge of music history
The second one deals with music processing and web technology and requires
- Very good programming skills in Python
- Good knowledge of audio signal processing / music information retrieval
- Good knowledge of web development
- Basic knowledge of music reading and music theory
