    Arbeitsgebiete / Research Areas

    My research interests are in the field of wireless sensor/actor networks and focus on embedded operating system concepts, communication issues, distributed systems, localization services and hardware design.

    Projects:

    • The SNoW Project: Started in late 2005, the SNoW sensor node established the research area of Wireless Sensor/Actor Networks at the Chair Of Computer Science V.
    • The SmartOS Operating System: Started in early 2006, SmartOS focused on power aware system design for small embedded devices like sensor nodes. Meanwhile, it also aims on real-time operation, resource management and compositional software design.
