Research Interests
In July 2021 I joined the DMIR research group. My research focus is on end-to-end networks of vibration modes and wavelengths (frequencies) in sensor embeddings in various application fields, reaching from smart infrastructure to smart health applications. Methodologically, my focus is on exploring the synergy effects between signal processing and deep learning methods, on transfer learning for out-of-distribution sensor data in different settings as well as on physics-informed neural networks (PINN) in medical mechanics.
Projects
Recently I am working on deep learning models for the classification of sensor and audio data in bee and bird datasets. The goal of this research is to learn more about the acoustic behavior of these protected animals in order to be able to monitor it.
In September 2022 the research project P-BIM will start, which will be part of my research work.
