    Natural Language Processing

    Thesis supervision

At the Chair for Natural Language Processing, we offer thesis supervision at both bachelor and master level in several areas:

    • Natural Language Processing
    • Multimodal (Vision & Language) Representation Learning
    • Information Retrieval
    • Computational/Digital Humanities and Computational Social Science (NLP Applications in Humanities and Social Sciences)

We always have available a wide range of topics in the areas of our research interests that can be tailored to varying levels of prior NLP knowledge and experience. Ambitious students with adequate prior knowledge will be offered cutting-edge topics that can potentially lead to publications at most prestigious NLP conferences (ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, ...).

If you are interested in doing your thesis work at our Chair, reach out to Prof. Glavaš per email (goran.glavas@uni-wuerzburg.de). The thesis at our chair can start at any point in time and doesn't have to be aligned with the start/end of semester.
