The Computer Science program with the degree Master of Science (M. Sc.) at the University of Würzburg was introduced in the winter semester 2010/11 and replaced (together with the undergraduate program Computer Science Bachelor) the Computer Science Diploma program.
The study regulations consist of the general study and examination regulations (ASPO) and the subject-specific regulations (FSB) including the subject description (SFB).
The current official FSB and FSB can be found in this overview (in German) in the line for "Informatik".
The study program can be started in the winter and summer semester. The study program is free of admission, there is a procedure to determine the suitability (see FSB). The standard period of study is four semesters, with a total of 120 ECTS credits to be achieved.
The study plan (in German) shows a proposal of how the study can be designed in order to be able to complete it in the standard period of study. This proposal is not binding and a variety of further courses of study are possible.
