Driving Urban Transitions Kick-Off Meeeting in Milan

Last week, our colleagues Prof. Pruckner and Jonas Schiller took part in the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership Event in Milan. The gathering marked the kick-off for the 2023 project cohort and the midterm event for the 2022 cohort, bringing together researchers and practitioners from across Europe.

The event focused on exchanging experiences, building connections, and identifying common goals among participating projects. Key topics included the use of urban living labs, strategies for ensuring project afterlife, and the development of methodological approaches for sustainable urban transformation.

Beyond the inspiring discussions, participants enjoyed the lively Italian atmosphere, excellent food, and the chance to network with new partners. The event provided fresh ideas and a clearer focus for the project’s next steps.
