IFAC Outstanding Service Award for Klaus Schilling

The president of IFAC (International Federation on Automatic Control) , Prof. Ian Craig, acknowledged at the IFAC World Congress in Capetown (South Africa) the contributions of Prof. Schilling to this international professional society by an "Outstanding Service Award". Prof Schilling served as chairman of the IFAC Technical Committees for "Aerospace", as well as for "Telematics" and had supported the IFAC journal "Control Engineering Practice" for 12 years as Associate Editor.
