Tianjin University honoured Prof. Schilling

In a ceremony at Tianjin University Prof. Schilling has been appointed as "Guest Professor". Between the universities of Würzburg and Tianjin several research projects on tele-laboratories and on sensor systems for mobile robots have been successfully completed. Tianjin University, established in 1895, was the first educational institution of higher learning in China and is today a National Key University directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education of China. Tianjin is a city of 10 million inhabitants located on the coast of Bohai Sea, close to the capital Beijing.
