Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Games Engineering. In his thesis, he developed an open-source Match-3 game toolkit built with the Godot Engine, used to study how game mechanics influence perceived difficulty. The research was published at the IEEE Conference on Games 2024. Daniel previously contributed to the WueDive project by developing Brain Builder, a VR game designed to teach insect brain anatomy. Currently enrolled in the Computer Science M.Sc. program, he now works as a student worker for the MEDIA project, supporting the development of an AI tool to assist medical professionals with patient DNA data interpretation for personalized therapy.
