Research Visit to the Transportation Research Sustainability Center @ UC Berkeley
30.10.2024Through a collaboration between the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Würzburg, funded by Bacatec, our colleague Jonas Schiller had the amazing opportunity to visit the Transportation Sustainability Research Center in California.
During his stay, Jonas had the opportunity to contribute to an upcoming smart charging project for electric vehicles. He also participated in seminars and discussions exploring the impact of urban design on human health, the potential of fully electrified car-sharing to provide access to underserved communities, and the effectiveness of pricing strategies in shaping mobility behavior.
The research stay provided an invaluable opportunity to experience daily life at one of the world’s most prestigious universities and to build valuable connections for future research. We are grateful to Bacatech for making this journey possible.
