    Information for Speakers

The meeting consists of invited plenary lectures and contributed presentations.

    • Each plenary lecture is a 45 minute talk followed by a 10 minute discussion
    • Each contributed presentation is a 20 minute oral presentation followed by a 5 minute discussion. Contributed presentations are organized into parallel sessions.

Each of our three lecture rooms is equipped with:

    • One computer
      • Windows 7 Enterprise 64 Bit
      • Microsoft Office 2013
      • Adobe Acrobat
      • USB port
    • Video projector
      • 1024x768 display resolution
      • VGA connector

Prior to each session one of our conference staff is present in the lecture rooms for technical assistance.

It is possible to use your own computer (e.g. for videos, simulations ...) but we encourage all speakers (of the parallel sessions) to use the provided computers for the presentation to achieve a smooth switchover between the talks.

We recommend to use the PDF format for your slides to avoid problems with Powerpoint caused by missing fonts or different program versions.

If it is necessary to use your own computer please ensure that it works together with our provided video projector and to have required adapters/connectors with you.
