    Summary

    Michael earned his B.Sc. in Aerospace Computer Science from the University of Würzburg in 2012, and his M.Sc. in Space Science and Technology from Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland, and Luleå University of Technology, Luleå, Sweden, in 2014. His research spans RTK GNSS, advanced multi-sensor fusion, navigation in GNSS-denied environments, and autonomous UAVs. Leading the ROBEX project, he developed the first autopilot for autonomous UAVs in Arctic environments. Completing his doctoral thesis in February 2021, he served as a temporary professor for aerospace technology from December 2022 to February 2024.
