About

Nicole studied Media Communication (B.Sc.) and Human-Computer Interaction (M.Sc.) at the University of Würzburg and has previously worked as a student worker at the group Psychology of Interactive Systems (PIS). She also spent a semester abroad at Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan, at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering.

In her Bachelor's thesis, she investigated algorithmic bias in AI-generated images, focusing on gender and racial representation.

For her Master's thesis, she investigated the use of an LLM-based multi-agent system for diversity training in virtual reality, examining its impact on empathy, behavioural intention and knowledge.

Nicole is currently working on a project that investigates how social presence in mixed reality can be systematically influenced and measured by shared personal augmentations.
