Research topics:

  • Human-Robot-Interaction
  • Social Robotics

Hendrik’s research concerns the lifelike animation of artificial characters, be they robots or virtual agents. He wants to know what is behind natural interaction between aforementioned agents and humans, and how such interaction can be generated or even understood by a machine.
