Summary

Maximilian Gmöhling completed his bachelor studies in Aerospace Computer Science and the master's program Satellite Technology at the University of Würzburg. He wrote his master's thesis on the "Design and Evaluation of a Robust Monocular Visual-Inertial SLAM for Underwater Vehicles". In August 2023, he joined the Robotics Department as a student assistant and as of August 2025, he is employed as a full-time research assistant.
