Exchange Study at HUST
During the one-semester stay in Vietnam, exchange students at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology can take courses in fields of "Electronic Engineering" and "Communication Engineering". These courses are recognized by the University of Würzburg and achievements are also credited at the home university. The courses taking place at HUST are held in English. A List of courses can be found here.
It is also possible to participate in a study project. The focus is to write a study thesis on a current research topic during the exchange semester. Before the start of the exchange semester, the content of the study project will be specified after consultation with a supervisor. In addition, students should attend lectures relevant to the topic of their project. Themes for various research projects may be available upon request.
Prerequisites
Both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree computer science or engineering students can apply for the ICE program. The general rule is: you should have studied computer science at the University of Würzburg oder Hanoi for at least 2 semesters, have a valid residence permit in Germany or Vietnam and you should aim to complete your studies in Germany oder HUST. Moreover, knowledge of the English language is certainly required to attend courses at HUST.
