Many papers presented at ACM GIS 2014 in Dallas

At this year's ACM International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems (ACM GIS) in Dallas, the Chair of Computer Science I was represented with several papers.

Nadine Schwartges presented her poster Labeling Streets in Interactive Maps Using Embedded Labels, which was joint work with Alexander Wolff and Jan-Henrik Haunert. Thomas van Dijk presented his paper How to Eat a Graph: Computing Selection Sequences for the Continuous Generalization of Road Networks, coauthored with Jan-Henrik Haunert and Markus Chimani. At the MapInteract workshop associated with the conference, Benedikt Budig presented his paper Matching Labels and Markers in Historical Maps: an Algorithm with Interactive Postprocessing, which was a collaboration with Thomas van Dijk and Alexander Wolff.
