Talks in Taiwan

04/27/2017

At Easter, Prof. Dietmar Seipel visited two universities in Taiwan and gave talks about the research of our working group and the studies at the University of Würzburg in general.

Prof. Seipel visited the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in Taipei and the Tainan National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Tainan in the southern part of the country. In his talk "Data and Knowledge Engineering for Intelligent Systems" (slides NTNU, NCKU) he presented current research topics on multi-paradigm programming with rule-based systems. In addition, he gave an overview about the computer science studies at the University of Würzburg in the heart of Germany. Hopefully this will draw interest in taking part in the Declare'17 summer school on declarative programming (Website) which takes place in Würzburg in September.
