Progress meeting with ESA-EAC on the "Underwater VR for astronaut training
31.01.2023Lionel Ferra, the XR-Lab lead of ESAs European Astronaut Center (EAC) in cologne visited our facilities for a progress meeting on the "Underwater VR for astronaut training” study.
After a demo of our current full-face VR snorkling mask setup and a discussion about transferring it to a professional diving mask, the main focus of the meeting was to make plans for a visit to EACs Neutral Buoyancy Facility in May and talk about the requirements that need to be met by then in order to have astronaut trainees experience our underwater VR mask.
