Last year the University of Wuerzburg (Prof. Dr. Harald Wehnes), Helmholtz Center Munich, the German and the Swiss Project Management Associations (GPM, spm) organised a (live) symposium on modern project management methodologies which was extremely useful. Participant feedback (blog)

This year the same symposium is offered online between the 4 May and the 22 June 2021 with target postdocs, principal investigators, junior professors, researchers and scientists who want to gain insights into modern project management methods and their application in research projects.

As you well know science is made of projects but project management training is often left out of the academic curricula (especially in the natural sciences).
In this symposium you can learn methods like Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Project Canvas, Kanban and Agile (Scrum) and see how you can apply them to your research.

More information and registration.
