Equal Opportunities Commission
The Computer Science Equal Opportunities Commission advocates for the interests of all students and researchers at the Institute of Computer Science regarding equality in academia.
This includes organizing the “Gleichstellung Kompakt” event series, which explores a wide range of topics in this field through lectures while also providing opportunities for networking.
In addition, we collaborate with the Mathematics Equal Opportunities Commission to promote cross-faculty dialogue on equality.

Current Grants
In addition to organizing various events related to equality, the Computer Science Equal Opportunities Commission awards travel grants twice a year. These grants are intended to enable (new) female doctoral students to participate in academic events (e.g., conferences, workshops, summer schools) relevant to their dissertation topics. The primary goal is to promote professional networking at an early stage.
