IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2026 Best Student Paper Award

Congratulations to David Raunecker on receiving the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2026 for the paper “A Discrete-Time Model of the Token Bucket Shaper for Real-Time Networking”, co-authored by David Raunecker, Stefan Geißler, Alexej Grigorjew, Philip Diederich, Wolfgang Kellerer, and Tobias Hoßfeld. The work was carried out within the DFG-funded project SDN-App “Flexible Programmable Hybrid Real-time Networks with Hard and Soft Real-time Guarantees” between the Chair of Communication Networks, Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg and the Technical University of Munich, and was presented at the conference held in Rome, Italy, in May 2026.
