New Master Program in Computer Science

The new master program in computer science has six focus areas:
- Algorithms and Theory
- Software Engineering
- Internet Technology
- Intelligent Systems
- Embedded Systems
- Aerospace Technology
The acceptance criteria for the master program had to be modified several times because of court decisions and requirements of the Ministry. Currently, applicants have to meet two criteria; they must have
- a bachelor`s degree in computer science or some other course provided that the course certain minimum requirements namely 100 ECTS points in Mathematics and Computer Science, including 25 ECTS in Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science and a thesis in the field of Computer Science,
- a minimum final grade in the bachelor (currently, 3.0 or better). Alternatively, applicants can take an additional exam on “Foundations of Computer Science”. Successful candidates must pass with a mark that has to be the better, the clearer they missed the final grade theshold.
The application was due on July 15.
