Surveying the city by cargo bike - How do we want to live in the future?
06/27/2024In cooperation with Remote Sensing, Computer Science has equipped a cargo bike with sensors to measure urban structures.
The research groups led by Prof Dr. Marco Schmidt and Prof Dr. Andreas Nüchter were responsible for the technical side of the project with system development and automated data recording. In remote sensing, Prof. Dr. Hannes Taubenböck is responsible for analysing the data. A measurement campaign was carried out in the city of Würzburg over the last two weeks
