First-year students in the faculties of Mathematics and Computer Science as well as Physics at the University of Würzburg get even more support: starting in October, roughly twenty older students will act as coaches, helping younger students to master their homework exercises. Next year, an electronic tutorial with additional exercises for self-monitoring will go on-line.
