After a longer break due to the pandemic, there will be an open computer science colloquium in presence again this semester, with exciting lectures.

As part of a program sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service, six students from Würzburg went to Vietnam. Also because of the corona regulations there, the trip became a very special experience.

The paper "Data Usage in IoT: A Characterization of GTP Tunnels in M2M Mobile Networks" by Simon Raffeck, Stefan Geißler, and Tobias Hoßfeld from the Department of Communication Networks (Computer Science 3) and Michael Krolikowski and Steffen Gebert from EMnify won the Best Paper Award at the FlexNGIA Workshop, which was organized together with NOMS 2022.
