On Thursday, September 29, 2011, the University of Würzburg organizes a meeting about the teaching of Mathematics and Natural Science. All students of these subjects are welcome, in particular student teachers.

The program starts with two invited talks at 10 a.m. (on honey bees and infrared astronomy) and finishes with another invited talk (on atomic nuclei and the element Radium) at 5 p.m. These talks will take place in the Max Scheer lecture hall in the lecture hall building for the natural sciences, Am Hubland.

This series of events is for the interested public, in particular for pupils in grades 10-12. Each event consists of a one-hour lecture and a supplementary program that depends on the subject.
