The next information event on semesters abroad will take place on Monday, 17 November at 16:00 in the Turing lecture hall. There will be up-to-date information from the International Office and the subject coordinators, experience reports from previous exchange students and the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with the speakers.

An AI from the University of Würzburg autonomously controlled a satellite in orbit for the first time, demonstrating the potential of intelligent, self-learning space systems.

The paper “Irreconcilable Differences? Investigating Consensus of Post-hoc XAI for ML-NIDS via Decomposition” by Katharina Dietz, Stefan Geissler, and Tobias Hoßfeld from the Chair of Communication Networks at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, together with Johannes Schleicher and Michael Seufert from the University of Augsburg, was honored with the Best Student Paper Award at the 21st International Conference on Network and Service Management (CNSM 2025).
